Aamir Khan’s upcoming projects – Official Report

After a long hiatus, Aamir Ace Khan is finally appearing this year in multiple projects including his most ambitious project Satyamev Jayate, a talk show about the people of India and their issues. The superstar, who has been actively occupied with the show for last 2 years, did not sign any film during this period just to focus on his show with 100% bandwidth. Now the show is about to open on May 6^th and buzz is very positive. Apart from the show, this year looks extremely promising for the superstar as he is about to start some great movies , likes of which are Dhoom 3 & Raj Kumar Hirani’s next untitled film in December. The article will give you the official update on Aamir Khan’s upcoming projects which are lined up for coming days. Contrary to the reports of him neglecting his film commitments for his show, the production houses involved with him in his upcoming films have rubbished the news and are eager to have the superstar on board. So without any delay, let’s look at some of Aamir’s upcoming projects in brief.

• Satyamev Jayate- a talk show that peeps into the lives of common man and his struggle in making both ends meet.  It’s a show produced by Aamir Khan Productions and the concept is developed by him and his team. As the name says, the show talks about honesty and integrity and issues we are facing in our day to day lives. It has 13 episodes and each episode will have one song. The theme Song is already a rage and has resulted in being the most talked about song on social networking sites. Imran Khan and Sri Devi have agreed to feature in one the episodes as guest. The show will be telecast on star plus and all other regional star networks along with Doordarshan. An interesting fact is that Aamir deliberately opted for morning slot as he wants to bring back the good old days of Mahabharata & Ramayana where entire nation sat together to witness something great. Going by the pre-release hype, it is safe to say Aamir’s show is sure to re write history on Indian television.
• Talaash – The most awaited film of 2012 will see the light of the day in November end. Be it social networking sites, trade buzz or the general public, everyone is eager to see Aamir in action and the buzz is tremendous. The film which was earlier slated for a June 1 release got postponed due to Aamir’s involvement in his TV show. Contrary to the reports of Aamir re-shooting the climax because of Kahaani’s success is untrue. The film is complete and has got no similarity what so ever with Vidya’s Kahaani. Aamir will ensure that the film is promoted well along with inputs from Farhan Akhtar, co producer of the film. So come November, entire nation will cheer for Talaash.
• Dhoom 3 – The most talked about project of Indian Film Industry, Dhoom 3 is starting in May and Aamir will join the crew from July onwards. A lot has been said about its delay but the film is very much on and roaring to go on floors. Aamir is playing a super villain in the film, likes of which has not been seen before. The actor plays a gymnast who is also a trained ballet dancer. Aamir is learning ballet dancing to get into the skin of the character and is also involved in heave weight training. If sources are to be believed, his role in Dhoom 3 is 4 times more powerful and stylish than what we have seen in previous Dhoom series. The story and Aamir’s look in the film is kept as big surprise and secret. Katrina Kaif, who plays Aamir’s love interest, is working out on her body big time as her role required her to do some breath taking stunts.  The actress is super nervous about sharing the screen with the legend so she is working extra hard to make her paring with Aamir a super success. Dhoom 3 is touted as the biggest film of Yash Raj Banner and the makers will go all out to market it in a big way when it opens next year. John Abraham, the star of Dhoom 1 feels that Aamir’s presence in Dhoom franchise will make the film a cult success. The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra.
• Raju Hirani’s next – speculations were on about Aamir signing Raju’s next but no official confirmation came from people involved in it. Finally it’s official that Aamir has given his nod to Hirani and the film is going on floor in December 2012. Temporarily titled “Tally”, the film is a statement on spiritualism and the existence of God in society. Aamir plays a drunken social crusader who’s on a path to enlighten India about the influence of God and Monks in our lives. It is a satire to be made on a big scale. Reportedly Anushka Sharma and Sharman Joshi are also on board and Shantanu Moitra of 3idiots fame will compose the music of the film. More details to come as we come closer to the shooting dates.
