Talaash tops anticipated list of 2012 again. It has emerged as the most awaited film of 2012 with a total of 26 points, ahead of Salman’s Ek Tha Tiger (20 points), SRK-YRF film (19 points).
There are still a little over five months for Talaash to release, but the anticipation has been mounting around this Aamir Khan starrer. There is a huge excitement amongst the Bollywood buffs, especially amongst Aamir Khan fans all over the world. The reason- Aamir was last seen on the big screen in 3 Idiots (Highest-grossing Bollywood films in India). This was way back in December 2009, since then Aamir did appear in Dhobi Ghaat which was an off beat film. The audiences are waiting for the next big AK release desperately.
The star-cast is another reason which makes this movie eagerly awaited. Zoya has managed to get a casting coup of sorts. Kareena and Aamir on-screen chemistry left the audience asking for more post 3 Idiots. On the other hand AK and Rani look superb on the big screen together.
Rani has recently quoted “Over the year Aamir and my chemistry has only got better. If you don’t believe me wait for the movie”. The fans of all the 3 stars are eagerly waiting for magic to happen when Talaash releases. Ritesh Sidhwani (Of Excel Movies) says “Yes, the coming together of such talent does lead to much higher anticipation. We have the plans in place and we are waiting for the time to begin execution for the same”.
The script of the film has been kept under wraps; people don’t know much, besides the fact that it is a psychological thriller. Aamir has a reputation for choosing great scripts that also makes Talaash look like a winner. Talaash has also been coined as the most awaited film of the year 2012 by Hindustan Times & Bollywood Hungama.
The film is set to release on the 1st of June 2012. Don’t expect the movie fans to sit quietly till then. There is a huge excitement about the first look of the movie which would be unveiled on 26th January’12 with Agneepath. Ritesh Sidhwani has said that the trailer of Talaash would be a little over than a minute.
Talking about Talaash Ritesh Sidhwani has also said “Yes, the fact that Aamir is seen very rarely makes audience root for him even more. Since he does only one film at a time, there is so much eagerness surrounding him and his work. Anything that he does creates a lot of expectations and ‘Talaash’ won’t be any different. We know that the film would be observed very carefully and we are prepared for that.”
Infact as I write the post, Co-producer Ritesh has tweeted and I quote “Talaash first look and poster will be out this week along with Agneepath”. Needless to say Talaash hype is about to storm the nation, right from this week.
