Last few years have been too controversial for Bollywood with most of big stars getting involved in a spat and fights leading to media hype and constant speculation.
From Shah Rukh to Salman, Sonam Kapoor to Shobha De, everyone has made news for wrong reasons, making audience wondering if fighting bug has kissed the tinsel town stars.
Following the recent SRK-Shirish “controversy”’, we have compiled a list of the Top 5 fights of Bollywood.
- SRK-Shirish Kunder slap gate: This is undoubtedly the most controversial fight of recent times. It made maximum headlines, earning a huge TRP for news channels. Both parties involved had their own version of the incident. While SRK claims that Shirish kept following him, provoking him to create a scene, Shirish on other hand insists that he was man-handled by the actor and his bodyguards. He further said that SRK attacked him for latter tweeting negative thing about Srk’s pet project Ra-one. However like all Bollywood famous re-union stories, both parties later patched up, keeping media guessing about the whole saga of fights and patch ups.
- The Salman-SRK spat: This is one fight which has been in the news for the longest time. 2008 saw the two once upon a time friends turning into permanent enemies. Salman arranged a party for his then girl friend Katrina Kaif where Shah Rukh was invited too. After few drinks, both had a heated argument on an issue best known to them till date. Post the incident; both the actors have maintained a permanent silence. But the incident was bitter enough for them to maintain their fight till date.
- Hrithik – Salman fight — Hrithik is known to be possessive about his films, especially when it comes to his most special project Guzarish which released in 2010. Salman made fun of the film and laughed about its poor performance at the box office. This did not go down with Roshan Jr as lashed back at Salman on tweeter saying “it’s not too heroic to make fun of other people’s hard work. If rumors are to be believed, Salman did not let the Agneepath team to come on sets of Bigg Boss to promote their film. However both parties chose to ignore such rumors.
- Sonam-Shobha cat fight – Shobha De, known for her hard hitting reviews criticized Sonam’s film “I hate luv stories”, to which the actress lashed back at her tweeting about her age and lack of action in life. This lead to few verbal discomforts between the two, till father Anil Kapoor intervened to arrive at a patch up.
- Salman-Ranbir old spat- years ago when Ranbir was not a star, Salman Khan reportedly slapped Ranbir Kapoor at a Mumbai club Olive. True to his vulnerable personality, next day Salman went to Ranbir’s bungalow with an apology He also presented the young Kapoor lad with an expensive Rolex watch. Years later, they are again not the best of buddies, thanks to Ranbir’s so call proximity with Salman’s ex-love Miss Katrina Kaif.
Guess stars are in no mood to be different than all common men like us. Its time they burry their hatchet and Say “Aal iz well” in true sense.
