Actor Deepika Padukone has been dumped yet again. This time by none other than the Prince of Good Times Siddharth Mallya. According to sources, Vijaya Mallya’s son has opted actor Anil Kapoor’s daughter Sonam over his former lady love Deepika.
Even since recently, Siddharth and Deepika had seemed very much in love and been quite vocal about their relationship to the media. Their romance had blossomed seemingly after actor Ranbir Kapoor cheated on Deepika and the young couple parted ways.
According to a television channel report, Siddharth feels Sonam is the most stylish actor in recent times in Bollywood. However, even as Sonam’s style quotient has received world-wide acclaim, she has so far failed to deliver even a single hit in movies. The flop actor seems busier donning stylish attires rather than shelling out meaningful roles.
Incidentally, Ranbir and Deepika have both patched up and have become good friends once again. She admitted to media that Ranbir is an extraordinary actor and his 2011 movie Rockstar had moved her to tears as well. She even turned up for Ranbir’s birthday bash. Initially, there were speculations that Deepika’s proximity with her old flame Ranbir might be one of the reasons why there were tensions between Siddharth and Deepika.
Later it was unravelled that the junior Mallya was actually eyeing Deepika’s so-called ‘good friend’ Sonam. The two had seemed buddies when they appeared on Karan Johar’s show ‘Koffee with Karan’ and had ‘bitched’about the man who had dumped them both – Ranbir Kapoor. Now, with the current turn of events it needs to be seen how Deepika’s ‘friendship’ with Sonam takes shape in the course of time.
