Is Priyanka Chopra a controversial Queen?

Ever since Priyanka Chopra has stepped into the world of films and glamour, controversies have been her best friend. The dusky beauty has been in news for her link up and break ups and this has not changed till today. While she has always maintained a dignified silence, stories and controversies have never eluded her. Today after 8 years in the industry she is still in the news for her link up with actor Shah Rukh Khan. As she battles her new link up story, let us go back and look at some of her popular link up stories.

• Akshay Kumar – she made her debut opposite Khiladi Kumar in Andaaz and that marked the beginning of their romance. They reportedly had a strong affair which lasted for 3 years till wife Twinkle Khanna put her foot down and never allowed Akshay to work with her after Waqt in 2005. Priyanka did admit that it was Akshay who has stopped working with her there after. The story ended and so was their romance.
• Harman Baweja- it is a known fact that Priyanka and Harman were a couple even before Harman entered the film industry. Priyanka agreed to do Harman’s 1^st film as she wanted to help her then boy friend Harman by featuring opposite him in Love Story 2050. The film bombed at the box office and so was their personal love story. Both the parties denied the news of an affair but it was a know fact .They again came back on silver screen in Ashutosh Gowarekar’s box office dud What’s your Rashee in 2010.
• Shahid Kapoor – it is believed that Priyanka was Shahid’s 2^nd serious relationship after his public break up with Kareena Kapoor. They live in the same apartment but their equation with each other has been more than just being neighbor. After few years of courtship, they reportedly had a break up but their professional relationship continues as they are soon to be seen in Kunal Kohli’s Teri Meri Kahaani.
• Shah Rukh Khan – this is one story that has done maximum damage to both SRK and Priyanka. SRK and Priyanka have been seen together in almost most functions and if rumors are to be believed; this did not go too well with wife Gauri Khan who has reportedly snubbed Priyanka at many social gatherings. Things became out of control when director Karan Johar lashed out at Priyanka on twitter accusing her to be using her power to malign Gauri Khan’s reputation. Though Priyanka has not reacted to this development, SRK has shown his anger to media at numerous occasions. Needless to say there is some truth to this news, atleast Karan’s outburst say it loud.

One cannot blame Priyanka alone; if married men are hitting at her then they should be blamed more. As for poor Shahid and Harman, they better focus on their not so promising film career if they wish to stay in bollywood for a long time.
