Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan have reigned over Bollywood for decades and they are continuing to do a decent job even now – but it is the rule of nature that the old has to bow down one day and give place to new. And as far as the film pundits are to be believed, the next biggest superstar in Bollywood can be no one else other than Rish and Nitu’s son Ranbir Kapoor.
Critics say acting is in his blood and Ranbir has proved them correct in fairly all the movies he has enacted. He had a humble beginning with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Sawariya and everybody was slightly sceptical how this Kapoor descendant would fare in mad rush of Bollywood. But Ranbir has silenced his critics and delighted his fans again and again with his powerful acting skills, God-gifted good-looks and an easy-go-lucky attitude.
People close to him say he has worked hard to achieve what he does. An otherwise shy person, Ranbir transforms himself completely when he comes in front of the camera – and then there is the matter of genes. His mother is also to be given due credit for she keeps Ranbir under a strict regimen and ensures he maintains a decent lifestyle, which are essential for stardom.
He has the potential make an ordinary film with a cliché story line a superhit movie – examples galore like Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani, Banchna Ae Hasino, Anjana Anjani and so on. In Wake Up Sid, Ranbir’s performance won him accolades from critics as well as earned him brownie points at the box office. However, Ranbir’s performance in Rajneeti and last year in Rockstar would certainly go down in the history books as legends. In Rajneeti he shared the screen big shots like Naseeruddin Shah, Nana Patekar, Manoj Bajpayee among others yet he stood out and won the appreciation from the critics. Rockstar is one film in which Ranbir showed his sheer brilliance and the film did extraordinarily critically as well as commercially.
It is a sheer delight to watch him enliven the screen space. He talks, dances, fights in front of the camera with an easy going ease and smoothness which are not seen so well among his peers. When Ranbir acts he does not seem be acting. It is looks like his natural behaviour – as if he was born to do it.
All we can do is bow down to the great super star and welcome him to scintillate our sensibilities for decades as of now.

Ranbir may be the next superstar but may not create a mass hysteria like salman and shahrukh because both of these actors have got immense charisma ,from this viewpoint, ranbir may not be a heartthrob,else ,a superstar is one who makes superhit movies but being a sensation or heartthrob is a different thing.
