It is a known fact that I love Aamir Khan and his movies are truly cult hits. But today I wont be talking about him. Much to people’s surprise I am here today to talk about a film which has the potential to bring Akshay Kumar back in the race of top stars. The film which I feel will bring in huge mullah at the ticket window is “Rowdy Rathore”. Powerful punch lines, kick ass action, and a gorgeous Sonakshi Sinha, enough to ensure a 100 % opening when it opens in June.
Personally I don’t have much hope from the film as I know it is made along the same path of previous south hits which are rich on style and less on substance, but from the box office point of view here are few reasons why it should do exceedingly well with the audience.
- The film brings back Akshay Kumar in his old avatar of action, but in a new look. His look with moustache is unique and may click with his fans big time.
- The promo is tailor made keeping the front benchers in mind. It has the famous south feel amalgamated with power packed dialogues and foot tapping back ground music. Just what the masala film lovers want.
- In the past movies like Wanted, Singham have worked purely on action and large than life dialogues and Rowdy Rathore is made along same lines.
- The films is a welcome change for Akshay’s series of mindless comedies and his look and action is sure to bring in fans for this unique factor. After all he is Bollywood’s best action star.
- The film is produced by Sanjay Lela Bansali and directed by Prabhudeva who directed Wanted. These 2 names will ensure big opening at the ticket window.
- This will be Bollywood’s 1st big release after IPL so come 1st June; Akshay will get a huge crowd standing outside theaters. Much more than Houseful2.
- This is Sonakshi Sinha’s 2nd release after her super hit debut film Dabangg so fans are curious to see this bombshell back on screen, including me.
- Akshay needs a hit and this is one film that can bring him back in big league. If this clicks be rest assured to see many more sequels of Rowdy Rathore.
All those Akshay fans get ready to have a blast on June 1. This is one film which can offer you dhamaka entertainment. It may not have a great script, may not have the class element but that will not stop Akshay fans to come out in open on June 1 to cheer and support him and his big film. All the best.

Akshay is a complete asshole….after doing such a long time in bollywood he still don’t have even slightest taste of which movie he should take….see his previous 10 or more movies …u ‘ll get it….if u want to see this movie, go on..but it will be total loss of money..guaranteed….
