The long wait is over. The poster and the teaser of Talaash have hit screen and since then it’s been a maddening excitement amongst Aamir Fans all over the world. From the time the actor announced the release of the 1st look of Talaash on his Face book account, fans poured in on FB to have a glimpse of the superstar. Within 20 mins of his message on the social networking site, it has earned over 7181 likes with over 3000 comments, and its still going up. Twitter is jam packed with Talaash fan club messages and every one is going gaga over the digital poster and teaser of the film.
Trust Aamir to surprise his audience every time and this time was no different. Talaash is India’s 1st digital poster ever and it does manage to leave an impact, thus conveying the feel of a dark suspense thriller. This is also the 1st time when an online promotion of a film began way before the actual promotion started. Let’s not forget that official promotion of Talaash has not yet started. Today we just saw a teaser, but the main promotion starts from March end but fans have already kick started their set of marketing by making endless fake poster of the film that have been doing the round for quite some time.

Talaash has been touted as the biggest release of 2012. However this Aamir starer is a biggie but not in the same genre as Ghajini or 3 idiots was. This is a dark physiological thriller with an edgy treatment to it. If sources are to be believed, the audience will be shocked at the end of the film.
The film is directed by Reema kagti and co written by Zoya Akhtar of Zindegi Na Milegi Dobara fame. Music has been composed by Ram Sampath, who made DK Bose a rage in Delhi belly.
Aamir plays a tough cop Surjan Singh Skhikhawat who is on a mission to unlock a mystery. Speaking about the title of the film the actor said “Talaash actually goes very well with each of the characters [...as] all three of us are in search of something.”
Rani Mukherjee plays a sex worker and Kareena Kapoor a socialite who helps sex workers and other children.
The teaser very effectively conveys the setting of the film, without giving away anything about the plot. The hunt hints at edge of the seat action and the suspense even in the short teaser is palpable.
On Enzag’s part, we have many interesting plans to promote Talaash and we wish to involve all of you in this journey. As we head towards the release of this magnum opus, we would have plenty of discussions about the film and the hype surrounding it. Along with it we plan to have an extensive campaign on Aamir’s best work where your views will play a significant role.

The movie has already geared up lots of expectations which is not very unusual because this happens for every AK movie…afteral for AK fans like me the upcoming movie is not less than a festival… And I am sure like every time AK and the movie will not just stand up to our expectations but will cross it..!! Not only AK, Kareena and Rani fans are looking forward to this one, but movie buffs across are all set for Talaash. We sure need to wait till 1June, but the wait will sure be more than just worth it.
