The suspense is over. Ever since numero uno superstar Aamir Khan has announced that he is making a show for the small screen, speculations were on about the name and the theme of the show. While the theme is still kept under wraps, the name has been leaked out from reliable sources and before we speak further let me announce name of the prestigious show, “Satyameva Jayate”. Yes that is the official name of the show. The show is currently in its last stage of editing so on this occasion let me give few important aspects of the show, without divulging the details of course. We don’t want to spoil the beauty of life changing show by breaking the suspense before its official release on star network.

Few interesting facts about the show.

•  The concept of the show has never been seen before in world television. It is unique and never seen before.
•  The show is designed, conceptualized and produced by Aamir himself hence he has mentioned this to be his most ambitious project ever. Goes to show how important it is for him.
•  Ram Sampath, the music director of Delhi Belly and Talaash is scoring the music of the show with lyrics written by ace writer Prasoon Joshi, the man behind Taare Zameen Par & Rang De Basanti.
•  The theme song has been sung by Sukhwindar Singh and it is 22 mins long. Sukhwinder recently said that the show will blow people off completely.  It is something people have not seen on television and the concept is sure to bring back the old feel of the song “Mile Sur Mera tumhara”.
• The show is about common man and his obstacles. Here you won’t see Aamir as a megastar, but as someone who is your confidant. He will travel in your city, meet people like you and me and will touch our lives in a positive way.
• This is India’s 1^st show to be aired across all 8 channels of star network at simultaneous time. It means if the show is on at 9pm on star plus, you will see the same show on star jalsa in Bengali, on star world in English, so on so forth.
• With this show, Aamir is now the highest paid star ever appearing on small screen, surpassing the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Srk & Salman Khan. If sources are to be believed, he would charge around 4-6 crore per episode, highest for any superstar ever.
• Aamir is currently busy shooting the end portion of the show for which he has banned phone calls, cameras on the set. He has decided to lock himself within close doors till he is through with his TV commitments.
• April or May is when the show is suppose to be on air, though the actual date is not yet confirmed.
• The expectations are sky high. Anything Aamir does becomes history so people are anxious to see if he is able to recreate his big screen magic on TV or not. Social issue shows are not easy to make, people tend to get bored but since its an Aamir khan show, we can expect to be pleasantly surprised.
