Facts of Chocolate

You say just the word and somewhere in the corner of our head we go “yum…..”, that is; for people who know how to appreciate the finer things in life. For the rest of the not so much of a chocolate eater- They’re missing out on something really GOOD!

Everybody loves chocolate! Those who don’t, may have reasons, but live with the fact that they would always be the minority group in chocolate category.

Why chocolate is good?

Firstly, research shows that Chocolate is good for the heart, and we all need our hearts to function and live. So the first reason is very valid point for our very own existence and to love chocolates. Healthy amount of chocolate makes us less likely to suffer from heart diseases and strokes. Therefore, a chocolate a day keeps a doctor’s visit at bay!

Then, for people with high blood pressure, chocolate helps to reduce the increased blood pressure. Giving them the liberty to freely express their excitement, nervousness or actively participate when otherwise they cannot, because of the high blood pressure they are pressured with. Chocolate relaxes blood pressure with the production of nitric oxide which tends to be antiatherogenic, which means that it helps prevent your arteries from becoming clogged. It also helps to reduce Cholesterol up to 10 %.

Rather than going under the knife because you don’t want to age; have a chocolate which releases flavonoids acting as antioxidants, protecting the body from aging caused by free radicals. So when having a chocolate, remember that you’re young and prolonging the key to aging. Surprisingly, a certain research says that chocolate can protect us from UV rays as chocolate is an antioxidant acting as a chemical which helps to neutralize during exposure to pollutants.

Wheeling Jesuit University suggests chocolate may boost your memory, attention span, reaction time, and problem-solving skills by increasing blood flow to the brain. This means it could help people with all the issues stated above and more or less, to stupid people who are lazy or don’t make an effort. They could just make things better and smarter by just having a chocolate. Then we would wonder . . . . . would it make them smart enough, to not have chocolate in excess to not feel stupid?

Chocolate is an aphrodisiac, so when your partner is not giving you much action in the bedroom, a simple solution is to make your partner indulge in chocolate and it won’t be long till you get some fun.

Going to a Shrink, cause you are sad and depressed? Why waste the money on the hourly visit when you can buy a chocolate and be happy? Chocolate releases serotonin which acts as an anti-depressant. Furthermore, it also releases endorphin which gives us a happy feeling of well-being.

Without knowing the scientific facts of chocolate, we all know that chocolate makes anyone happy and has a relaxing effect. It simply brings a smile to anyone’s face who feels devastated, or not. Even to those who are simply happy with their achievements and life, chocolate is just another way to celebrate.

For Chocolate lover’s, we don’t really need an excuse to have an advantageous reason to have a chocolate. We just know that it’s TASTY and we LOVE it!

So think twice before you think you are gaining, with all the calories. Go ahead and enjoy a rich chocolate bar on this chocolates day.

Happy Choco Day!!
