How to prepare butter chicken – Recipe

Butter chicken is one of the most delicious chicken dishes having it’s origin in India. It can be prepared easily at home and can be served as a lunch or dinner dish. It is usually served with roti, paratha or even rice.
Ingredients:

1. Diced Boneless Chicken – 1 Kg
2. Vegetable Oil – 3 tsp
3. Butter – 4 tsp
4. Chopped Onions – 2
5. Cinnamon – ¼ tsp
6. Garlic chopped – 1 tsp
7. Ginger paste – 1.5 tsp
8. Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp
9. Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
10. Grounded almond – 2 tsp
11. Peeled Tomato – 4
12. Tomato paste – 1 tsp
13. Yoghurt – 2 tsp
14. Fresh cream – 1.5 tsp
15. Fresh Coriander – 2 tsp
16. Salt and pepper to taste

Method:
Take a non stick pan and put in oven. Pour 2 tsp vegetable oil and allow to heat in low flame. Prepare chicken by marinating it with salt and pepper. When the oil is ready, put the chicken pieces into the pan. Saute the chicken until it has been light fried. Remove the chicken in a bowl. Then, put the butter in the same pan, add onion and sauté for (3-4) minutes. Put garlic, ginger, all the dry spices and sauté for another 2 minutes. Add curd, peeled tomato, tomato paste and salt to taste and mix well for some time. Then add the chicken pieces in the pan and mix well with the ingredients. Put a small amount of water and put on the lid. Lower the flame and let it cook for (5 -7) Mins. Remove the lid and add fresh coriander leaves and fresh cream.
