Pune Warriors India will take on Mumbai Indians on the crucial match 45 of DLF IPL 2012 at Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium, Pune. Mumbai Indians would be looking to take the advantage of Pune warriors lost their 3 matches in a row and two points added to their total will help them to race towards the play offs of Indian Premier league.
Mumbai’s significant fear is their batting, with only Rohit Sharma and Ambati Rayudu near to reliability. Sachin Tendulkar hasn’t done anything big this season, especially after coming back from the little finger injury. Levi has been in and out of the team, while Dinesh Karthik and Kieron Pollard lacking behind in their performance.It’s their bowling department that has gained them most of their win, like in the last go with when Lasith Malinga’s 4 for 16 included Deccan chargers were bundled for 100.Munaf Patel has reinforced him well with 11 wickets and Pollard has been more a bowler than a batsman this season with 11 wickets as well. Pune will have to also seriously think about using Smith and Clarke as part-time alternatives, which can turn things around for them on the slow Indian pitches. Thomas and Dinda are expected to return in place of Parnell and Nehra respectively.
