Pune Warriors India will play against the Royal Challengers Bangalore match 57 of DLF IPL 2012 at the Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium, Pune. RCB team looks confident to qualify for the play-offs after their back to back win against Mumbai Indians & Deccan Chargers.
Currently, Bangalore is being led by Virat Kohli in position of regular captain Daniel Vettori. Kohli once again he might get the chance to lead the team from the front and if Vettori comes in, then Muttiah Muralitharan have to sit out to avail him. But Vettori will not make any changes in the winning combination. Gayle, AB de Villiers and Tillakaratne Dilshan are the main strength of Bangalore’s batting order and are in excellent touch in the present season. Moreover, Kohli, who struggled in the early stage of the innings, have discovered his missing form in the last match with against Mumbai. Muralitharan and Vinay Kumar are bowling some good spell which always keeps the opponent on check.
Pune however had a nice beginning in the competition after they beaten Mumbai, Punjab and Chennai, but they lost their momentum in the middle. They are now just in the competition for the formality and on Friday they will be only for the pride. Jesse Ryder was in an excellent form with the bat it helped the team to win against Chennai and Delhi but his injury has harm the squad badly,from there they never recovered.
