When does a woman lie

There are several reasons women lie. I am not talking of compulsive liars who look for occasions when they can lie to their heart’s content. But more or less as occasions demand women tend to hide some essential facts for some particular reason that they think is important enough. Well, these are just harmless tales, which are not meant to harm anyone but only spoken with non-toxic intent. Let us find out why women at times do not exactly share the entire truth with everybody.

• Relationships: A woman would never admit the number of relationships she had had previously. If a woman had seven boyfriends, she would at the most say the number to be two or hardly three. A woman’s reputation is diminished by the number of previous affairs she might have had while it is the other way round for men whose masculinity is evaluated with the number of women he might have slept with. So in such situations a woman has no option, but to lie about her previous affairs and appear a morally upright person.
• Orgasm: A woman most often fakes her orgasm. But then again it is for a special reason – to make her man happy. It is not every time that a man is quite capable to satisfy his partner. But in order to keep her partner happy a woman would most often say that her man had been great in bed and that she had indeed climaxed as well. If the relation is new chances are high she would say these white lies to impress her partner.
• Weight: Women have this common fear that they are perpetually gaining weight. Hardly will you find a lady who is fine with her vital stats and might even want to increase her weight. So it is actually a sin of sorts if you dare to ask a woman her weight and not quite surprisingly she would lie about it and reduce it by a few kilos.
• Age: Well, everybody knows and it is also considered good etiquette not to ask a woman her age. But if some fool makes the mistake of asking a woman her age, she would certainly not be too truthful about it. And she is not to be blamed either. In this patriarchal form of society, a woman is considered desirable if she is young while there are no such restrictions when it comes to men. In such situations, women generally lie about her age. But these days even some men also follow the ladies brigade in this respect and harmlessly lie about age.
• Grooming time: Never believe a woman if she says she would just take two minutes to get ready. This ‘two minutes’ can turn to twenty or even two hours in different situations depending upon the occasion for which the lady is getting ready. But then again she should be pardoned for it because when she emerges after the full session of grooming even the strictest of partners would agree that the wait was worth it. So to be on the safe side never believe a woman about the time she says she would require to get ready. Without blinking an eye you can add an hour to it.
• Emotional Blame-games: A woman would never admit herself that she is fine when asked. She needs her man to be caring enough to find out how she is actually. He should take the trouble to be persistent enough to find out about her well-being. So never expect a woman to tell you that she is upset or unwell so you should sort out the matter. If you fail to find out what the problem is, you are just doomed since she would bring up the issue again and again to emotionally blackmail you.

So these would be some of the situations when a woman might not be too truthful. But these are all pardonable offences and are all white lies.
