Micromax on Tuesday launched its most awaited tablet at very much affordable price of Rs 6,499. The Funbook (model no: P300) that’s the name given to the 7inches tablet full loaded with features and can compete with many low cost tablet launched in the Indian market. It has been designed considering the Indian audience in mind.
Interface: This tablet runs on Android 4.0 (ICS) as operating system .It has been backed up by The Cortex A8 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz with 512 MB RAM support that enables the performance on the tablet really easy and rapid.
Build up and Design: Tablet has a 7 inches with capacitive touch based input system. Has a resolution of 800* 480 pixels. Sensitivity of the touch screen would be good and smooth. The Fun book is sleek and slim, easy to carry and comes in Black and Grey colors.
Media and Camera: Fun book tablet coming up with VGA camera on the front that can be used for video chats using Skype or you can even record your own videos. In media section high definition videos can be watched with high quality of sound as well as it can be connected to your TV. The media player supports AVI, WMV, MOV, MPEG2/4, WMA, MP3, 3GP and many more formats.
Battery and Storage: The Micromax tablet has rechargeable 2800mAh battery which allows Browsing over Wi-Fi Up to 6 hours. It has a built up memory of around 4 GB internal memory and 512 RAM expandable up to 32 GB. Other portable devices like pen drives will also be supported in it.
Connectivity and Features: For internet browsing it has in built WI-FI and supports USB 3G dongles. Apps for this android ice-cream sandwich device can easily be downloaded through Google Play Store, which is already pre-installed into the tablet. It supports Adobe flash for reading eBooks and Google services.
I personally feel that it’s a smart combination of entertainment and education. If you are looking to bag this tablet just go it because it’s definitely an Paisa Wasool tablet in terms of Indian market were people usually look for cheap ,durable, beautiful product at low cost.

no one is commenting that no other 3g dongle can be used on micromax funbook. not even a tata photon + normal 2g dongle. ( EC 152 )
i bought funbook.
i wasted 6499 which i will never get back.
