Youtube India brought movies for us sometime back and now they have brought TV shows. Seeing the huge popularity of Hindi daily soaps in India, Youtube took a massive step in organizing and starting TV shows on Youtube. Previously when we used to search for any show on Youtube, we used to get random episodes and that too divided in many parts. So it was difficult for a normal Youtube user to find the exact TV show episode that he or she was looking for.
Now Youtube has added a new section for Hindi TV buffs where you can watch latest episodes of your favorite TV show that you may have missed last night. Youtube have made a separate section and TV shows have been categorized as different “Youtube Channels” to which you can subscribe. If you subscribe to these Channels, Youtube will send you email notifications when new episodes are uploaded.
Just have a look at the categories below and you can understand so many genres have been covered. If your favorite show is not in the list, don’t worry as it might be on its way. The top participants in TV shows as of now are Sony Entertainment SET (SET), Star Plus and Colors and MTV owned by Viacom 18.
Well, Indian TV shows are only available for Indian users right now. Indians sitting abroad will have to wait as Youtube has not notified yet when will they make it available to Indians living outside India. There are still other ways to access these channels. If you wanna access TV show channels of US, you can do it from India too.
